How to apply for a Maynilad Water Service Connection

 

Applying for a new Maynilad Water connection is not as easy as it seems. There are many requirements to have and secure before a property owner can have a water service with Maynilad. Below is a complete guide for privately owned properties. Maynilad serves the Western Zone of Metro Manila which includes BF Homes Parañaque subdivision.

 

In Metro Manila, Maynilad covers the Western part of the City of Manila & Quezon City including the cities of Caloocan, Makati, Las Piñas, Malabon, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, and Valenzuela. Maynilad also services the province of Cavite, South of Metro Manila.

 

  1. Fill up Application Form (download the Maynilad Application form here).

  2. TCT (Transfer Certificate of Title) photocopy and later the original (for comparison only) or a notarized Deed of Absolute Sale.

  3. Barangay Certificate

  4. Tax Identification Number (TIN) of applicant.

  5. Proof of Billing (any bill with the name and address of the applicant e.g. Meralco bill, credit card bill, etc.).

  6. Photocopy of a Maynilad bill of your neighbor (To easily verify Maynilad sevice availability in your vicinity).

  7. Photocopy of two (2) valid IDs with three (3) signatures of the owner of the property.

  8. Notarized SPA (Special Power of Attorney) if by a representative - with valid ID.

  9. Secretary's Certificate if TCT (Transfer Certificate of Title) is registered to a corporation.

  10. Other requirements as advised by the implementing Business Area.

Submit the above documents at the Maynilad Business Area office where your property is located or submit online at customer.helpdesk@mayniladwater.com.ph . After submission and evaluation of the above documents, Maynilad will likely issue an "Endorsement for Excavation" if the water connection requires excavation and restoration of the sidewalk or street pavement.

 

Note: New Water Service Connection Installation Charge will be subject for assessment. Rates may also vary depending on the pipelaying cost. Application and requirements are valid for 30 days only.

 

 

Steps to Obtain an Excavation Permit

 

  1. Get a Homeowner's Association (HOA) Permit/Clearance to excavate.

  2. Obtain a Barangay Excavation Clearance by showing your HOA Clearance.

  3. Submit both HOA & the Barangay Clearances to you local Traffic & Management Office, for a Traffic Clearance Permit.

  4. Submit: HOA, Barangay & Traffic Clearances to the Engineering Department of your Local Government (at City Hall) with a photocopy of the TCT and valid ID to obtain an EXCAVATION PERMIT (Fee and deposit may range from P5,000 to 10,000).

Submit to Maynilad business area office all of the above documents (Original HOA, Barangay & Traffic Clearances with the Excavation Permit from City Hall). Wait for their evaluation and assessment of Water Service Connection fees (approximately P10,000) + Guarantee Deposit. Pay the fees at any Payment Center or via Gcash (there is no cashier at Maynilad business offices).

 

In newer service areas like in BF Homes Parañaque, you will be required to sign a Promissory Note for the installation of the reticulation system (water pipes in your area) in the amount of P24,000. The amount will be divided in 24 monthly payments (P500/month) to be added to your monthly water bill.

 

After all the steps above, expect your water connection in 7 to 10 days.
